The APH-4n is the optional accessory package for the H4n Handy Recorder that features an array of accessories that will make your recordings even more pristine and easier to capture. The kit includes a windscreen, hot shoe mount, remote control, splitter cable and attenuator cable.
The APH-4n’s windscreen will reduce the occurrence of wind, breath sounds and popping noises in your recordings. Using the package’s hot shoe mount to attach the H4n to any hot shoe-equipped DSLR or video camera. The included remote control gives you access to a range of functions, including recording start, play, stop, fast forward/reverse, recording level adjustment, and input source switching, as well as prevents handling noise. In addition, the APH-4n’s splitter cable allows you to send audio from your camera to your H4n and headphones simultaneously for monitoring purposes. Lastly, utilize the APH-4n’s attenuator cable to provide the proper mic levels and preserve the connector contacts inside your camera, allowing you to go directly from the H4n into your camera.
