Introduction

The MACKIE ONYX24 is a professional-tier 24-channel analog mixer engineered to serve as the structural centerpiece for large-scale hybrid home studios, multi-microphone podcast rooms, and full-band live sound venues. Blending classic, uncompromised analog architectural design with a pristine digital multi-track core, this console handles complex channel routing effortlessly. Its sleek front-panel design maintains visual order in high-density creative production zones, presenting modern audio engineers and content creators with an absolute single-cable infrastructure for comprehensive desk-space management.

Main Features

Built around eighteen award-winning Onyx microphone preamps offering an exceptional 60 dB of ultra-low-noise gain, the MACKIE ONYX24 ensures standard-setting sonic clarity. Channel tone dynamics are regulated by Cal Perkins’ legendary 3-band "British Style" EQ with sweepable midranges on all mono channels, supplying deeply musical control over tracking inputs. For advanced digital workflow expansion, a massive built-in 24×4 USB audio interface handles high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz multi-track recording straight to a DAW environment. Operators can also bypass computers completely via the central Studio Command module, using its high-contrast full-color LCD screen to direct standalone stereo recording and layout manipulation straight onto standard SD media.

Usage Scenarios

• Studio: Aggregates massive multi-synth and multi-instrument setups into a single master layout, operating as a clean 24-in/4-out digital audio interface surface.
• Live performance: The integrated "Built-Like-A-Tank" steel chassis structural framework guarantees bulletproof reliability through rapid transit and rigorous festival transitions.
• Practice: Instant Bluetooth channel integration patches mobile device reference tracks or multi-track guide loops into localized practice feeds without loose cabling.
• Recording: The wide-format 24-channel design permits clean simultaneous tracking of full large-scale acoustic orchestras, live bands, or dense panel discussions.
• Education: Physical 60mm channel faders, color-coded rotary selectors, and a centralized screen interface provide students with a superb, tactile audio training platform.

Features

• Eighteen high-headroom Onyx preamps deliver ultra-clean signal execution paired with an explicit 60 dB gain range.
• High-resolution 24×4 USB interface manages simultaneous multi-track data recording directly to PC or Mac computers.
